Emerald Lakes Residential are caretakers for 6 bodies corporate in The Emerald Lakes Estate, Carrara. We pride ourselves on providing our community with a fantastic building management and gardening service. We are responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the buildings and their surrounding gardens.

We are a small family run business at one of the most beautiful places on the Gold Coast. We offer a friendly and caring working environment to all our staff.

An opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated gardener to join our team. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday and some public holidays on a rotating roster (with a day in lieu provided).

Working as part of our landscaping team will mean that you will cover a wide range of duties and will suit applicants who enjoy a variety of tasks and are looking for a challenge. The successful candidate will be responsible for a high standard of friendly and welcoming customer service. The areas of responsibility for these roles include:

All aspects of gardening & lawn maintenance

Maintenance of gardens and trees to ensure a safe environment

Knowledge in safe work practices with chemicals and fertilisers

Follow work health and safety procedures, identifying hazards and assessing and controlling safety risks

Soft and hardscape landscaping

Operation and maintenance of plant and gardening equipment

To be considered for this position you MUST possess the following attributes;

Experience in a similar landscaping role.

The ability to perform gardening landscape duties to a high standard.

Ability to operate and maintain plant and gardening equipment.

A positive and proactive approach to work

A friendly personality with great people skills

You must be able to work with the team while also working autonomously and be able to take direction from your team leader.

Adherence to WHS policies and guidelines

Current manual drivers’ license is essential.

Desirable knowledge;

Chemical spraying ticket

Horticulture Certificate

Working at heights ticket

Knowledge and experience with gardening equipment
