Maxwell Recruitment & Training are a leading local labour hire provider, Registered Training Organisation and Group Training Organisation providing real-world training for tradespeople, labourers and admin staff & now Apprentices, in manufacturing, mining services, other engineering trades and construction for over a decade.

We are currently seeking Carpenters for a workshop based role in Thornton.

Key Responsibilities:

Using carpentry tools and machinery in a workshop setting

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans

Measuring, cutting, fitting, and finishing materials to a high standard

Working closely with other team members to meet production schedules

• Building and assembling custom electrical enclosures to specification
• Maintaining safe work practices at all times

​​​​​​​What We’re Looking For

Trade qualified Carpenter (or equivalent experience)

Strong hand tool and machine skills

Ability to read and work from drawings

Good attention to detail and quality workmanship

Reliable, team oriented, and safety conscious

Experience in manufacturing, cabinet making, or similar assembly environments highly regarded

What’s on Offer

Hourly rates starting at $57.50/h

Consistent, Monday to Friday hours with overtime available
