We are currently seeking licensed and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, experienced with earthmoving equipment, to work with a top-tier blue-chip client in Port Hedland.

Fly-in, fly-out from Perth or locally based, housing allowance offered for locally based personnel

About the Role:

Service and repair a variety of earthmoving and heavy machinery

Diagnose and fix mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults

Keep equipment safe, compliant, and ready to roll

Work independently or with the crew on repair schedules

Deliver high-quality, reliable work

Complying with safety guidelines

Your Skills and Experience

Maintaining a culture of inclusivity and communication within our team is crucial. The successful applicant should be a team player and comfortable working autonomously. Additionally, have the necessary experience, hold current licenses, and be willing to contribute across the site when needed.

As the successful applicant, you will possess the following: -

Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Fitting Mechanics

Hands-on experience with earthmoving equipment (civil or mining preferred)

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

A proactive, safety-first attitude

Ability to work solo and as part of a close-knit team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail
