MEGA Resources has a strong focus on safety, reliability and performance. As our operations expand, we’re looking for skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our team and keep our fleet moving.
About the Role
As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you’ll be based at the Rama Gold Project in WA, working on a wide range of heavy mobile equipment. Your work will be essential in ensuring our fleet remains reliable, efficient, and safe.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out diagnostics, repairs, servicing and rebuilds on trucks, dozers, graders, loaders and excavators
Performing scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs to minimise downtime
Fault finding and component change-outs on engines, transmissions and hydraulics
Working closely with supervisors and fellow trades to meet operational requirements
Maintaining accurate service records and ensuring all work complies with safety standards
About You
Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Cert III Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent)
Previous experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment
Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills
Safety-focused with a commitment to quality workmanship
Team player with good communication skills
Current C Class Driver’s Licence (or higher)
HRWL, Working at Heights & EWP tickets (desirable)
Roster: FIFO roster from Perth to the Rama Gold Project
Contract: Permanent Full-Time
Work Location: Rama Gold Mine
Salary: Great hourly rates – $70 to $85 per hour (casual rates also available)
