Francis Venues are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Kings Head Tavern. We’re proud to offer a welcoming, family-friendly dining experience where good food, consistency, and teamwork are at the heart of what we do.
As Kitchen Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the kitchen team, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring high standards in both food quality and safety. This is a hands-on role where your leadership and organisation will directly shape the success of the venue.
The successful applicant will:
Have proven leadership experience within commercial kitchens.
Hold a thorough understanding of OS&H and food safety.
Demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills.
Work efficiently under pressure while supporting the team.
Be reliable, punctual, and flexible to work a 7-day rotating roster (including weekends and public holidays).
As Kitchen Manager, your main focuses will be:
Overseeing daily kitchen operations and supervising staff.
Planning menus and daily specials in line with seasonal produce.
Managing food costs, stock control, and supplier relationships.
Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Maintaining consistency, quality and high presentation standards.
