About the role

We’re looking for a dynamic Events Coordinator to join our Wellbeing Team in a residential aged care setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to lead and innovate programs that support the wellbeing of our residents.
This is a full-time Wellbeing Team Leader role required to join Christadelphian Aged Care's team in Gladesville, NSW.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading a team that delivers person-centred care and support to residents, promoting their overall wellbeing and quality of life.
What you'll be doing
Manage and develop a team of Wellbeing Coordinators to ensure high-quality service delivery and an exceptional resident experience
Coordinate the planning, implementation and evaluation of wellbeing programs and activities that are tailored to individual resident needs and preferences
Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, providing guidance, coaching and support to your team members
Collaborate with nursing, allied health and other care staff to develop and implement holistic care plans
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of wellbeing initiatives, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with all relevant aged care regulations, policies and procedures
What we're looking for
Proven experience in aged care, with a deep understanding of the needs and preferences of older people.
Someone who wants to complete the Cert IV in Leisure & Lifestyle - (Christadelphian will fund this).
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
Strong understanding of person-centred care principles and a commitment to enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life for older people
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families and colleagues
Proficiency in developing and implementing engaging wellbeing programs and activities
Familiarity with aged care regulations, standards and best practices
