The Works Printing Group is a highly successful Hobart-based digital and screen-printing company producing work for many high-profile national and international brands. Our workflow systems are state-of-the-art and support the time-critical demands our customers require.

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Printer’s Assistant to join our busy production team. This is a hands-on role where you will support our experienced printers in producing high-quality print across multiple processes. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the print industry.

Key Duties:

Assisting printers with preparing jobs and setting up equipment

Assisting with colour matching

Loading and unloading presses

Quality checking printed materials

General workshop and housekeeping tasks as required

Requirements:

Previous experience in a print environment is an advantage, but not essential

Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work

Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team

Willingness to learn new skills and adapt across different print processes
