About Role

All Australians have a right to a dignified and meaningful life. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

SSI partners with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to deliver local area coordination services within two Sydney regions for people with disability 9 to 64 years of age, their families and carers. We are the first point of contact for people with disability to access the NDIS and other services and supports in the community. We also deliver community projects to support a more inclusive and equitable society.

About You

Performance Support Officers will report to the Manager Performance Optimisation (MPO) and perform a diverse range of duties, including assisting with the distribution of LAC workload, assigning plans, and monitoring and reporting on performance.

The role is responsible for supporting the Service Area Managers and LAC team in meeting contractual performance standards. It will provide necessary reports and guidance to Team Leaders and LACs, assisting them in meeting their KPIs.

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in human services, community services, quality assurance, data entry, adult learning/education, training or other related qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing performance reports and storing/maintaining accurate data records.
  • Willingness to develop skills and knowledge in quality assurance.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering on performance targets and social impact outcomes.
  • Experience working with client record / management systems and demonstrated capabilities in data warehousing.
  • Effective data entry and data management skills
  • Understanding or experience of the NDIS LAC program contractual Quality and KPI requirements would be an advantage
