About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our Sportspower store in Renmark, South Australia. As Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in driving sales, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the store. This is a full-time position based in our Renmark location.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the Store Manager in overseeing all store operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service

Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with customers

Driving sales performance through effective merchandising, promotions, and inventory management

Coaching and developing the store team, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to deliver excellent service

Maintaining store standards and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

Analysing sales data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement

Supporting the store manager in achieving the overall store's business objectives

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail management or supervisory role, preferably in the sports or outdoor equipment industry

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide an exceptional shopping experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

Proven track record in achieving sales and operational targets

Proficient in using retail management software and data analysis tools

Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

A passion for the sports and outdoor industry and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of the Sportspower brand
