With clinics in seven metro and regional locations and a reputation for innovation in listening and spoken language, they’re now looking for a Professional Lead - Speech Pathology to elevate service quality, build workforce capability, and drive clinical impact across the discipline.

This is a high-level, strategic role for a seasoned Speech Pathologist with a broad skillset beyond LSL, strong mentoring instincts, and a desire to lead from the front - clinically and professionally.

What You’ll Be Doing:

A leadership-heavy role with a small caseload (approximately 1 day a week) to stay sharp and clinically current. You’ll:

• Guide and mentor Speech Pathologists across all locations - supporting development, supervision, and upskilling
• Build and roll out evidence-based clinical frameworks to drive best practice across the speech discipline
• Design and deliver internal training, coaching programs, and external education content
• Influence clinical standards, service design, and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with other leads and senior leaders on innovation, strategic growth, and team capability
• Deliver occasional assessment and therapy to maintain clinical relevance and model excellence
• Represent speech services in internal and external forums, ensuring strong alignment with sector trends and client needs

This role is pivotal in shaping statewide clinical practice, with influence well beyond day-to-day therapy.

What You’ll Need:

• Degree in Speech Pathology + SPA Certified Practising Membership
• Minimum 5 years’ experience across varied caseloads and life stages (not limited to LSL)
• Proven leadership in mentoring, clinical supervision, and capability building
• Strong grasp of clinical governance, evidence-based frameworks, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Clear communicator - able to influence, guide, and support with confidence
• Open driver’s licence + personal vehicle
