The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. You will work closely with the company's owner/director and our external taxation accountants to ensure accurate financial records, compliance, and efficient business administration. This role is perfect for someone who's eager to grow in the field of accounting while also gaining exposure to broader business operations and financial controlling.

Key Responsibilities

Finance and Accounting

Oversee all financial operations including preparation of accounts, and managing accounts payable/receivable, payroll, BAS, superannuation, and tax compliance.

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including reporting packs insights and summaries of the business performance.

Prepare and manage cash flow, oversee treasury activities and foreign exchange management.

Monitor and control all transactions to ensure accuracy from the operational team.

Maintain systems for inventory control including stocktake with warehouses in AU and USA.

Operations and Logistics

Prepare and manage all freight, logistics, and global supply chain operations from factory to HS warehouses globally and distributors.

Drive continuous improvement in order accuracy, freight costs, and delivery performance.

Compliance & Reporting:

Prepare documentation for BAS, payroll tax, and other compliance requirements in collaboration with our external tax accountants.

Assist in generating financial reports for internal use and external stakeholders.

Administrative Support:

Handle general office administrative tasks (filing, data entry, email correspondence, scheduling).

Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams for smooth financial operations.

About You

Qualifications/Experience:

Strong understanding of accounting principles, with preferred CA/CPA qualification

At least 3 years experience in the field of accounting and financial management

Experience with Xero.

Strong computer literacy, particularly advanced in Excel.

Skills & Attributes:

High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team.

Work Ethic:

Proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Australian work rights are required for this position.
