Saturday Showroom Sales Consultant

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Showroom Sales Consultant for a permanent part-time role at our Paddington location. This position requires Saturday availability with the opportunity to add Friday for additional hours.

The opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic part-time Sales Consultant to join our Paddington showroom. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a collaborative individual who is passionate about retail and design.

This role requires Saturday work from 10am-4pm, with the option to pick up an additional day on Friday.

What the role entails:

Establish and grow retail sales to achieve personal budgets

Manage, maintain and coordinate sales from order to delivery

Promptly follow up quotes via phone and email

Build warm and professional relationships with all retail clients

Administration tasks – emails, client enquiries, quoting, phone calls, order processing

Specify products and gather client requirements with attention to detail

Maintain the showroom in accordance with VM presentation guidelines

Assist with fabric cutting and other showroom duties as required

Work independently and keep the showroom and stockrooms organised and tidy

Assist with incoming and outgoing deliveries for both local and global markets

What we are looking for:

Availability to work permanent part-time on Saturday, with flexibility to work Friday when needed

Minimum 5 years' experience in a showroom or retail sales role with a focus on sales conversion

Qualification in Interior Design would be advantageous

A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards sales

Strong attention to detail
