What You'll Do

You'll lead across core areas of fund accounting and management, including:

Financial Reporting & Bookkeeping

• Review balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly Net Asset Value (NAV) statements in Allvue.
• Lead year-end audits and coordinate preparation of key deliverables.
• Review draft financial statements prepared by Fund Accountants.

Tax Compliance

• Oversee data compilation for external tax advisers and ensure timely investor tax statements.
• Review quarterly BAS reports and external tax returns for funds.

Fund Operations & Management

• Manage cash forecasting, capital calls, and investor distributions.
• Support quarterly revaluations and ensure expenses align with fund documents.

Investor Relations

• Respond to investor queries on holdings, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Contribute to investor materials, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

Process Improvement

• Continuously identify opportunities to automate and scale processes.

About You

We're less focused on where you've come from and more on the skills and mindset you bring. To thrive, you'll need:

• Deep fund finance knowledge: Strong grasp of technical fund accounting, valuations, carried interest, hurdle rates, and fund metrics (TVPI, Net IRR, etc.).
• Audit experience: Hands-on involvement in multiple audits and preparation of compliant financial statements.
• Reporting expertise: Skilled at delivering accurate NAV and capital account statements, often as the final reviewer.
• Tech comfort: Proficiency with spreadsheets and experience with fund accounting platforms (e.g. Allvue, eFront).
• Communication skills: Clear, thoughtful, and impactful-both written and verbal.
• Organisation & prioritisation: Ability to manage competing demands across multiple funds with structure and focus.
• Hospitality mindset: Pride in delivering high-quality experiences for investors, founders, and colleagues.
• Humility & scrappiness: No job is too small, and you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
