Sunnyside House, a small and welcoming not-for-profit aged care facility in regional Victoria, is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant to join our team.

About the Role:

As a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the wellbeing of our residents through engaging and meaningful activities. You’ll support the planning and delivery of programs that encourage social interaction, creativity, movement, and fun.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in delivering group and one-on-one activities based on residents’ interests and abilities

Support the emotional and social wellbeing of residents

Help plan and set up activities and special events

Work collaboratively with our care and support teams

Contribute to creating a warm, inclusive, and homelike environment

About You:

A genuine interest in working with older people

Warm, friendly, and patient with great communication skills

Creative, reliable, and a team player

Certificate III in Leisure and Health or similar qualification (preferred)

Previous experience in aged care or lifestyle programs (preferred but not essential)
