About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator to join MannaCare, supporting our two residential homes (90 beds and 60 beds). If you are empathetic, enjoy building meaningful connections with older adults, and have a flair for creating and leading engaging, person-centred programs, we would love to hear from you.

In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop and lead lifestyle programs that enrich the lives of our residents.
• Oversee and inspire a dedicated team, creating a supportive and engaging workplace.
• Coordinate with our extensive volunteer network to ensure diverse and meaningful activities.
• Ensure programs are culturally relevant for residents from CALD communities.
• Implement strategies that maximise resident engagement and regularly assess their effectiveness.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in developing and managing lifestyle programs in the aged care or community sectors.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, ideally with team leadership experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with residents and families.
• A compassionate approach to managing and supporting elderly residents and individuals with disabilities.
• Experience with dementia care, with knowledge of memory support programs and Montessori methods highly regarded.
• Relevant qualifications, including a Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or a related discipline.
• In-depth knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Current driver's license, police check, NDIS screening and full Australian working rights.
• 3 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine are preferred.
