Work. Are you an innovative thinker with a passion for project sustainability excellence? Join Sunwater and the Paradise Dam Improvement Team as Sustainability Manager – Alliance, where you’ll partner with the Deputy Alliance Manager and provide expert advice and support to internal and external stakeholders on Infrastructure Sustainability.

As Sustainability Manager – Alliance at Sunwater, you will:

  • Oversee and manage the delivery of the Project’s sustainability rating with the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC).
  • Lead the strategic direction of Sunwater’s sustainability interests within the Alliance.
  • Monitor and report on the project’s progress, performance, sustainability measures and targets to stakeholders and internal committees, ensuring compliance with Sunwater's standards and reporting frameworks.
  • Review, identify and address key material sustainability issues across the Project.
  • Manage, identify and monitor key risks associated with sustainability on the project, applying the appropriate controls and mitigation measures are established to ensure compliance with Sunwater and the Alliance sustainability reporting and legislative requirements

We are seeking a talented individual with a proven track record in sustainability development and approval process associated with the delivery of complex infrastructure project. You will hold a bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, or other relevant disciplines. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role and accreditation as an Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professional (ISAP) by the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC). You will also bring:

  • Extensive experience in the delivery of collaborative contracts such as alliances and integrated partnering agreements on large complex civil infrastructure projects (>$300m).
  • In-depth knowledge of ISC rating schemes and a strong understanding of sustainable construction principles.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives.
