About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Build Supervisor to join our Activations and Exhibitions team. In this hands-on role, you’ll lead the fabrication and installation of custom builds across Australia. You’ll collaborate with designers and project managers to transform creative concepts into reality, ensuring high-quality finishes and efficient delivery. Experience in exhibition and event fabrication or fit-outs will be highly regarded.

About you:

You’re an experienced fabricator or joiner with a strong technical foundation in materials and processes. You take pride in precision craftsmanship, enjoy problem-solving in fast-paced environments, and are confident leading builds from workshop through to installation.

You’ll bring:

Proven experience in fabrication, joinery, or metal work (experience in exhibitions/events highly regarded).

Strong knowledge of materials including timber, metals, acrylics, aluminium extrusion, and LED integration.

Ability to interpret CAD files, drawings, and design concepts for build accuracy.

Experience operating fabrication machinery, power tools, and workshop equipment.

Skills in welding, cutting, and general metal fabrication (advantageous).

Confidence supervising on-site teams and coordinating trades/suppliers.

Logistics and freight management experience.

Willingness to travel interstate regularly and work some weekends.

Commitment to WHS, including PPE use and SWMS compliance.

Key responsibilities:

Fabricate, assemble, and finish custom builds using timber, metals, and mixed materials.

Deliver end-to-end build execution: manufacture, install, and dismantle projects nationally.

Interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and sketches to plan and execute builds.

Operate and maintain fabrication equipment, tools, and workshop machinery.

Lead on-site installation teams, coordinating with project managers and trades.

Oversee logistics, freight, and material procurement for timely project delivery.

Conduct ad-hoc joinery and fit-out tasks to meet specific project needs.

Prepare materials in advance and maintain organised workshop/warehouse storage.

Provide input into build conceptualisation, estimation, and quoting.

Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean, compliant workshop and site environment.

Stay current with fabrication techniques and industry best practices.
