ILG is the largest liquor co-operative in Australia and has been serving the industry since 1975. We have an exciting opportunity for a focused and self-motivated Promotions Co-Ordinator to be part of our Trading team and take on an active administrative role within a dynamic organization.
Position Description:
As our newly appointed Promotions Co-Ordinator you will be responsible for a host of administrative and support duties. Your role will be busy, and you will be challenged each day with the following activities.
Liaising with suppliers confirming a host of promotional activity.
Setting up, along with maintenance and loading of supplier promotional pricing.
Attending to supplier and member queries via email & phone.
Accessing Supplier Web Portals and performing minor maintenance.
Preparing ‘Promotional Pricing worksheets’, as approved by the Category Managers and communicating this to the appropriate marketing group Members.
Assisting in Implement pricing and promotional decisions made by management.
Provide administrative and analytical support to Category Managers.
Data entry of stock allocations to members.
Assisting with a Competitor Analysis of consumer marketing material.
Undertake various assignments/projects as requested by the Category Team.
Keying and loading of all retailer marketing plans set by the category managers.
Keying in mixed case deals for all our suppliers.
Briefing our studio team on the various promotional activities.
Reviewing / Proofing of promotional artwork.
Provide administrative support for the coordination of dedicated events.
Ad -hoc duties as required
About You:
· Previous administrative experience in FMCG or in the Liquor Industry - Is preferred.
· Strong time management and organizational skills are a must.
Ability to communicate well at all levels from members, suppliers to management and staff
Willingness to learn and take up new challenges as required.
· Strong computer skills and writing skills.
· You're a proactive problem solver and natural collaborator.
· You have an eye for detail, organised, and driven by outcomes.
