Cahill Transport is a third-generation, family-owned business with over 74 years on the road. While we’re a national logistics company, we’ve never lost our close-knit team culture. Right now, we’re expanding quickly, and we're urgently looking for HC and MC Local Drivers to join us for local container, wharf, and metro runs.

If you’ve got the licence, we’ve got the work – and if you don’t have DG or MSIC, we’ll cover the cost to get you qualified. This is local work, meaning you’ll be home every day. No long-haul! Just reliable, consistent routes with great pay and benefits.

The Role

HC Drivers – Local work with single trailers, mainly metro and wharf runs.

MC Drivers – Access to B-doubles and some rural loads for a variety of local routes.

Container, metro PUD, and wharf work (DG/MSIC desirable but not essential).

Home every day – No long-haul, no overnight stays.

Reliable, modern fleet with full in-cab tech.

Supportive dispatch & operations team – we’ve got your back!

What You Bring

Valid HC or MC licence with solid experience.

Comfortable with reversing, docking, and load restraint.

Experience with rigid & pig trailers (a plus).

Experience driving in local metro environments and handling inner-city traffic.

You’re reliable, safe, and take pride in your work.

DG Licence or MSIC? Great. Don’t have one? We’ll pay for it.
