About the role

RMB Logistics is seeking a Truck Driver to join our team based in Dulong, QLD. This casual role with full-time hours to start as an integral part of our road transport operations, delivering goods to Brisbane, Toowoomba, Dalby & Gold Coast. We also offer changeovers in Kempsey, NSW and multi-drop interstate, Brisbane to Sydney & back. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods by all relevant regulations and company policies.

What you'll be doing

Operate a range of heavy vehicles, including vans, rigid, semi-trailers and B-doubles, in a safe and responsible manner

Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure on-time and in-full deliveries

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and completed all necessary documentation

Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations, including fatigue management and load restraint requirements

Provide excellent customer service and liaise with the dispatch and operations teams

Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of your assigned vehicle

Primarily working out of our Dulong depot

What we're looking for

A valid minimum HR with an HC or MC-preferred driver's licence with a clean driving record

A preferred extensive experience (minimum 3 years) driving heavy vehicles in a commercial transport environment, but willing to take limited experience.

Exceptional safe driving skills and a strong focus on compliance with road transport regulations

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A flexible approach to working hours.
