Machine Operator / General Maintenance Hand – Yilgarn Hub Restart

TSS are delighted to be partnering with Yilgarn Iron Investments on the restart of their Yilgarn Hub iron ore assets, including Koolyanobbing, Windarling, and Parker Range. This is a hands-on, operational role supporting mining and site infrastructure as part of a small, practical owner’s team.

About the Role
We’re looking for a multi-skilled, proactive Machine Operator / General Maintenance Hand. This role is for someone who stays busy, gets stuck in, and actively supports the site’s operational and maintenance requirements. You’ll drive and operate a range of machines, undertake general earthworks, and handle maintenance and repairs as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

Operate site machinery including grader (16m), dozer (D10), loader, water cart etc.

Perform general maintenance and minor repairs on infrastructure and equipment

Assist with pipe dragging, installation, and other general site works

Support earthworks and site preparation activities as required

Stay active and engaged across the site, responding to operational needs and prioritising tasks effectively

What We’re Looking For

Experience operating heavy machinery in a mining, civil, or earthworks environment

Hands-on, proactive, and willing to get involved in all aspects of site operations

Enjoys being out of the machines pitching in as well

Able to troubleshoot and solve issues on the spot

WA C-Class Driver’s Licence

Yilgarn region, site-based

FIFO 2 weeks on / 1 week off
