Dayshift/Afternoon Milk Production Operators

Casual probation period – Fulltime Employment

Payrate: above award + potential Sunday overtime

Primary responsibility is to operate the bottling line efficiently to ensure that the production team has a continuous flow with limited interruption.

Food industry and food manufacturing experience

Machine/equipment operating experience (desirable)

Familiar with HACCP Plans, GMP and using SOPs (desirable)

Enthusiastic and eager to learn; willing to ask questions.

Team player, with the ability to work independently.

Attention to detail.

Reliable and strong integrity

Good communicator

Be physically fit and able to lift up to 20kgs

Food industry experience and familiarity with food manufacturing would be a bonus.

Forklift licence is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities for the Milk Production Operator will include:

Ensure filling equipment, tools, supplies, and work areas are maintained according to applicable GMP.

The safe setup, operation, and sanitation of high-speed filling and packaging equipment including but not limited to fillers, cappers, labelers, printers.

Ensure HACCP and GMP requirements are met throughout the production process including wearing appropriate PPE and general housekeeping is maintained.

To work safely, efficiently & cost sensitively.
