An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Legal Counsel to join the growing in-house legal team, this position is newly created and would suit a commercial lawyer with general commercial and contracting experience.

The Legal Counsel will report to the General Counsel and provide legal support across the organisation on a variety of contracts that support and benefit the organisation, including in the area of sponsorship, Trade Mark licensing, national supply arrangements and partnerships.

Key responsibilities:

Contract drafting

Assisting with contract negotiations and general procurement matters

Assisting with contractual disputes

Advising on regulatory matters

Advising on sponsorship matters

Assisting with Trademark certification

This is a broad role providing an array of stimulating commercial and regulatory work across multiple stakeholders, within an action-orientated, compassionate and purpose driven environment.

Key skills required:

The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum of 3 years’ PQE in commercial law gained in a well-regarded law practice or in-house environment

Ability to build relationships easily and quickly
