The ideal candidate will have a professional services background (Business Services/Tax); this is the ideal first step out of client work into a commercial accounting focused role.

Duties will include:

• Preparation of Management and Annual Accounts
• Xero & MYOB processing and reconciliations
• Final review of Payroll
• Processing statutory payments Payroll tax, WorkCover
• Process ATO payments – BAS, FBT and Company returns
• Maintain Trust account
• Perform and process ATO lodgements and payments – BAS, FBT & company returns
• Debtors management
• Preparation of financial reports and income tax returns with assistance of overseas team and Director

Ideally you will need:

• 3-5 years’ experience in Business Services/Tax within an accounting firm
• High level of technical competency, problem solving skills and organisational skills.
• Initiative
• Strong communication skills
• Experience using Xero and Hubdocs
• Compliance experience within an accounting practice
