• Apprentice Electrician - High-End Residential, Automation & Security

YorkyElec, in partnership with MEGT, is seeking a motivated 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice (or 1st Year part-way through) to join their team and build a long-term career. Working with MEGT as your employer, you'll be hosted with YorkyElec, a small but growing business specialising in high-end residential projects, home automation, security systems, IT networking, and AV installations.

What's on Offer

• Exposure to varied, high-end work: electrical, security (alarms, CCTV, access control), automation, IT/data networking and AV.
• One-on-one training in a supportive, small team environment.
• Full-time hours: 7:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (minimal overtime - lifestyle balance valued).
• Long-term development - opportunity to grow into project management responsibilities over time.

About You

• Genuinely interested in becoming an electrician (Certificate II in Electrotechnology highly regarded).
• Mature-minded, reliable and eager to learn.
• Professional in communication and presentation - trusted in client homes.
• Takes initiative (keen to be hands-on, not on the phone).
• Holds a White Card (or willing to obtain prior to commencement).
• Based in or near Melbourne's northern suburbs (workshop in Preston).
