Greenmount Surf Club is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our vibrant and hardworking Restaurant and Bar team. Nestled at the base of stunning Greenmount Beach, we are proud of our exceptional customer service and our friendly, high-energy atmosphere.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident in leading a team, and is available for split shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Schedule: 25-38 hours Monday - Sunday

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to and working closely with experienced Head Chef

Supervise work with and support FOH staff to maintain high service standards

Assist with training and mentoring staff to ensure ongoing development

Ensure consistent product and service quality

Oversee cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant and bar areas

Proactively assist and support team members during busy periods

Deliver friendly, efficient, and professional service to all guests

Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively

Delegate daily tasks & rostering for FOH team members

Set up and delivery of functions and events

Liaise effectively with kitchen and management teams

What We’re Looking For

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities

A team player with a hands-on, can-do attitude

Proven experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Previous supervisory or management experience (preferred)

Availability for split shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Ability to work closely with both FOH and BOH teams

RSA and RSG certifications (or willingness to obtain)

Valid work rights in Australia (no sponsorships available)

Reliable transport or willingness to relocate
