About the role

Quinlan Cranes' is seeking an experienced Diesel/Crane Mechanic to join our team in Laverton North, Victoria. As a Mobile Mechanic, you will be responsible for the servicing and repairs of our fleet of heavy machinery, including cranes, trucks, trailers and forklifts. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary company vehicle etc and the opportunity to work with Modern equipment in a growing and innovative company.

What you'll be doing

Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard of quality and safety

Performing scheduled maintenance and repairs on our Fleet or Equipments. ( Cranes, Trucks, Trailers etc)

Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues

Rebuilding and overhauling components Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical would be advantageous.

Conducting regular inspections and identifying potential problems

Maintaining detailed records of all work performed

Collaborating with the wider team to ensure the smooth operation of our fleet

What we're looking for

A qualification in Automotive Diesel Mechanics or a related field

Trade qualification in diesel mechanics is essential for this position

Extensive experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the heavy machinery or construction industry

Minimum of 5-8 years of diesel mechanic experience is required

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures

Good communication and customer service skills

Australian work authorisation is required for this position
