We are seeking an Experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team, someone who is looking at growing in their role with an immediate start.

Job Description:

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for delivering reactive and preventative maintenance services across our client sites. This includes mechanical repairs, spray booth support, forklift servicing, project work and general workshop equipment maintenance. The role requires travel to metropolitan, regional, and interstate sites as needed, with a guaranteed 38 hour working week.

This position suits a qualified and adaptable tradesperson looking for secure, consistent work at a competitive hourly rate of $40 – $42/hour, plus allowances and overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform reactive repairs on spray booths, compressors, forklifts, extraction fans, and related mechanical equipment.

Undertake scheduled maintenance and compliance checks to ensure safe and reliable operations.

Carry out fault diagnosis and problem-solving under time-sensitive conditions.

Support site operations by assisting with installs, upgrades, or mechanical modifications when required.

Complete accurate job sheets, service reports, and timesheets daily.

Adhere to workplace safety standards and compliance procedures.

Travel to multiple client locations, sometimes interstate, with overnight stays where required. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on spray booths.

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical ability to perform tasks involving standing, bending, and lifting.

Valid Drivers licence.

Qualifications:

High school or equivalent.

Prior experience/knowledge of Spray Booths / Mobile Plant is favourable but is not a requirement.
