Position

This opportunity is for an experienced Hire Controller to join the team in Canberra. This person will have an important role within the business, managing the stock and usage of equipment to ensure the smooth running of operations through the branch.

The role has the below responsibilities:

• Overall coordination of the branch - hire, sales, delivery
• Over-see the branch equipment
• Understand and manage the end-to-end hire process
• Provide technical support to customers
• Customer service, advice and support
• Work with in house staff to establish a streamlined operation of the business

Candidate

This role is technical, autonomous and hands on role. The appropriate candidate will have experience in running a branch, working at a fast pace and should have a good understanding of general construction equipment.

Ideal experience is as listed below:

• Knowledge and experience in equipment hire or logistics would be highly beneficial
• Autonomous and self-motivated
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Customer focused w/good communication
• Based in Canberra
