Makibe Australia are currently seeking Electrical/ Mechanical Fitters to join our client’s manufacturing team in Minto. If you have experience in custom-built Switchboards, Motor Control Centres, or Control Panels, we want to hear from you!

Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm (Mon–Thurs) + Half Day Fridays

Rate: $35.00-$50.00 based on skill and experience.

Duties include (Electrical) :

General assembly of switchboard components

Basic electrical wiring

Reading and interpreting technical drawings

Duties include (Mechanical) :

Machine operation & use of power tools

Assembly of components & blueprint interpretation

What We’re Looking For:

Strong electrical/ mechanical aptitude with a safety-first mindset

Problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative

Background in Fabrication, Mechanical work, or Electrical/Switchboard assembly

Highly motivated, punctual, and reliable

Strong teamwork skills with ability to perform under pressure

Good time management and organisational skills

Qualifications & Experience:

Trade qualification.

Forklift ticket desired.

Basic PC skills (desirable)

Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
