About the role

Starting Point Psychology is seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychologist to join our inclusive team in Palmerston, NT. You can be a clinically endorsed or registrar, generally registered or provisional. This is a part-time opportunity to provide high-quality clinical psychology services to the local community. As a Psychologist at Starting Point Psychology, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our clients.

What you'll be doing

Where appropriate, conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and developing personalised treatment plans for clients

Providing evidence-based psychological interventions, including individual and group therapy

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care

Maintaining detailed and confidential client records in accordance with professional standards

Participating in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices

Contributing to the growth and development of the Starting Point Psychology practice

What we're looking for

Registration as a Psychologist, Clinical, Registrar or Provisional with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

A strong background in providing psychological services, with a focus on evidence-based practice

Early career psychologists encouraged to apply

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds

A commitment to ethical and professional conduct in all aspects of your work

Experience in working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals

Resilience and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
