The Role:

As a Contracts Administrator with our client, you’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of high-caliber projects. Working alongside experienced teams in design, project management, and construction, you’ll have the opportunity to manage diverse, complex projects that will significantly enhance your skills and experience. Your Responsibilities:

  • Tender Management: Prepare and submit tender packages, conduct cost analysis, and recommend top subcontractors.
  • Contract Negotiation & Management: Lead the negotiation, finalization, and management of supplier and subcontractor agreements.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, identify savings opportunities, oversee claims, and track expenditures.
  • Project Coordination: Handle RFI processes, ensure comprehensive project documentation, manage scopes of work, and collaborate with architects, consultants, and site supervisors.
  • Team Collaboration: Maintain seamless communication with senior management, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Project Handover: Oversee approvals, inspections, as-built documentation, and warranty details to ensure the highest standards of project completion.

Experience & Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Contracts Administrator in the construction industry.
  • Tertiary qualified in Construction Management and Economics or Quantity Surveying
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple complex projects.
  • Expertise in pre-tender forecasting, cost planning, and subcontractor negotiations.
  • Proficiency in Procore or similar systems is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills.
