About ACC Victoria Online

ACC Victoria Online provides online education for Victorian students from Year 5-10 in 2025, intending to add additional year levels including VCE from 2026. ACC Victoria Online (ACC VO) operates out of our Casey campus in Skye.

ACC Casey, is located at Skye (45 minutes south of Melbourne), and is a P-10, co-ed, Christian school with Secondary year groups being added each year until P-12 is catered for.

About the role

We are seeking a Christian school Wellbeing Officer to join our team ACC Victoria Online team on a permanent, part time basis (0.4FTE). If you are adaptable and able to thrive in a variety of environments, have excellent people skills and the ability to learn technological platforms quickly, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. The successful applicant will play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and mental wellbeing of our students, working closely with staff and families to foster resilience, engagement, and positive relationships.

As a permanent staff member at ACC Victoria Online, you will have the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of students across the state who need to study remotely. You will also have the opportunity to be a foundational staff member that works as part of a small and close team, and be a pivotal person in the shaping of the culture at ACC Victoria Online.

Please note that all Victoria Online Staff are required to work onsite out of Casey Campus in Skye.

This part time role (0.4FTE) is expected to start January 2026.

Specific Role Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students with wellbeing needs.

Develop and deliver wellbeing programs, workshops, and initiatives across the school.

Support the implementation of whole-school wellbeing frameworks and policies.

Assist in the early identification of students at risk and coordinate appropriate referrals.

Work collaboratively with teachers, leadership, and external support services.

Contribute to building a safe, respectful, and inclusive school culture.

Child safety is a shared responsibility. Every person involved in our school has an important role in promoting child safety and wellbeing and promptly raising any issues or concerns about a child’s safety.

We are committed to regularly reviewing our child safe practices, and seeking input from our students, families, staff, and volunteers to inform our ongoing strategies.

Common Responsibilities & Duties

Provide a child safe environment in accordance with the child safe standards;

Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school and always follow the school’s child safety and wellbeing policies and procedures;

Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct;

Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues in accordance with our Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures, including following the Four Critical Actions for Schools;

Model and promote the vision and values of the school;

Maintain records of class attendance and recording student progress;

Implement effective student management consistent with the school’s strategic plan;

Attend and participate in staff meetings as required;

Be actively involved in regular staff devotions and prayer.
