📚 About the Role

Construction Training Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and passionate Trainer & Assessor to deliver hands-on training to pre-apprenticeship students undertaking the Certificate II in Building and Construction & Certificate II in electrotechnology. This role runs every Wednesday for six weeks, with the potential to transition into a full-time position in January 2026.

You’ll be working in a supportive training environment in Brunswick, helping students—many of whom are under 18—develop foundational skills in carpentry, electrotechnology, and general construction practices.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and compliant training aligned with CPC training package

Facilitate practical workshop activities and theory-based learning

Support learners with varying skill levels

Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessments

Promote safety, teamwork, and industry readiness

Uphold child safety standards and duty of care

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)

Certificate III in Electrotechnology or Carpentry

Current Police Check

Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) for Victoria

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Desirable:

Previous experience delivering vocational training

Familiarity with pre-apprenticeship programs

Ability to support learners with LLN needs
