About You
You’ll take on project-broad responsibilities and wider scopes of challenging work in a ‘direct’ work environment and a bureaucracy-free zone. You’ll be involved with the design, technical support and project delivery whilst leading and mentoring your team.

Key Responsibilities
As a Lead/Principal Civil Engineer, you will:

• Lead and mentor junior team members while building strong client relationships.
• You'll handle design, documentation, and modeling for roadworks, subdivisions, drainage, hydraulics & earthworks.
• Ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
• Provide technical input and ensure designs meet project and client requirements.

Key Skills & Attributes
To excel in this role, you will ideally have:

• A Civil Engineering degree (recognised by Engineers Australia).
• 10-20 years of engineering experience.
• Familiarity with Austroads standards and Australian regulations.
• Experience in geometric design and modeling, including the use of tools like 12D or similar software.
• Strong design experience in roads, subdivisions, drainage, and earthworks.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
• A proactive attitude towards mentoring and team management.
