We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Artwork & Packaging Assistant to support the Packaging Development team in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Reporting directly to the Packaging Development Manager, the successful candidate will be the central point of contact for all artwork-related communications and will be responsible for maintaining and organising artwork folders and assisting with the upkeep of all packaging documentation. The ideal candidate is a proactive and meticulous individual with a strong sense of urgency. You'll be a key support for the Packaging Development Manager, requiring excellent organizational skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage all artwork communications between internal and external stakeholders, including marketing, sales, creative agencies, and printers. Ensuring correct artwork versions are in the folders and old/obsolete files are archived.
Support with keeping all packaging documentation up to date, including master spreadsheets and registers, ensuring all data, such as specifications, dimensions, and material details, is accurate and current.
Support the completion of tender documentation by providing accurate and timely packaging information.
Support the National Product Catalogue (GS1) registration for new and existing product lines under the direction of the Packaging Development Manager.
Assist with administrative tasks related to packaging projects, including filing, documentation, and communication tracking.
Required Skills and Experience:
Prior experience in a similar administrative or coordination role, preferably within a fast-moving environment.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Intermediate computer literacy is a must, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Proven ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively in a dynamic setting.
A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
A sense of urgency and the ability to "get the job done" under tight deadlines.
