About the role

Are you a skilled welder looking for an exciting new challenge? This full-time position at Arc Spray Engineering in Forrestdale, WA 6112 will see you operating cutting-edge laser cladding robots & Traditional Welding to provide specialised welding services to our clients across Perth and Western Australia.

What you'll be doing

Operate and maintain laser cladding robots to apply specialised welding solutions

Inspect and assess workpieces to determine the appropriate welding techniques and parameters

Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues and optimise welding processes

Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and within agreed timelines

Adhere to strict health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment

Complete detailed records and documentation of all welding activities

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in welding, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade

Substantial experience (5+ years) operating laser cladding and other advanced welding equipment

Strong technical skills and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the welding industry
