At Pawsuit Happiness, we’re looking for a responsible and enthusiastic Dog Walker to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives outdoors, stays calm under pressure, and understands how to keep dogs safe, social, and happy.

About Us

Pawsuit Happiness is a St Kilda–based dog-walking and pet-care business built on trust, reliability, and positive reinforcement. We work mainly around Bayside and nearby suburbs, giving dogs fun, structured adventures while providing peace of mind for their families.

The Role

Safely transport dogs to and from their homes and local parks (company van available at times).

Walk groups of up to 6–8 friendly, social dogs at once.

Supervise off-leash play, ensuring dogs are safe and engaged.

Keep an eye on health and behaviour, and communicate promptly if anything is out of the ordinary.

Follow council regulations and maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.

Update clients with warm, professional communication and photo check-ins.

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments.

Confidence managing larger groups of dogs.

Comfortable driving and parking in Melbourne’s inner suburbs.

Professional, clear communicator with clients.

Reliable, punctual, and level-headed under pressure.

Based locally or within easy reach of St Kilda/Bayside.

Requirements

Reliable vehicle for dog transport (company van available when free).

Current Australian driver’s licence with a clean record.

Smartphone with data and camera capability.

Physically fit and ready to work in all weather.

Availability for 15–18 hours per week (Monday, Friday, and half-day Tuesday, with potential for more).

Current ABN for invoicing.

Valid Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

Bonus points for:

Formal training or strong knowledge of dog behaviour and body language.
