Mosman Rowers is a historic waterfront club with a modern hospitality offering, delivering exceptional experiences for members, guests, and the local community. We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Manager to join our leadership team and help drive the continued success of our venue.

About the Role

As Assistant Manager, you will support the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the venue, leading a team across front-of-house, events, and service delivery. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong floor presence, excellent communication skills, and a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and support front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service

Oversee daily operations, including rostering, stock control, and cash handling

Ensure compliance with RSA, licensing, and WHS regulations

Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain smooth service

Assist in planning and executing functions, events, and promotions

Foster a positive and professional team culture

Step in for the General Manager when required

About You

Previous experience as a Supervisor, Duty Manager, or Assistant Manager in a hospitality venue

A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer experiences

Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

RSA competency card required (or willingness to obtain)

Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
