They are seeking a Process Safety Engineer to lead safety strategy across their high-risk, MHF-compliant logistics network. This is a pivotal role focused on chemical handling, risk management, and embedding best-in-class process safety within a dynamic warehousing and transportation environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead process hazard analysis (e.g., HAZOP, LOPA), risk assessments, and safety reviews
• Ensure compliance with Major Hazard Facility (MHF) and Dangerous Goods (DG) regulations
• Drive continuous improvement of safety protocols across warehousing and logistics sites
• Collaborate with operations and engineering on emergency planning, training, and incident response
• Partner with internal stakeholders and 3PL clients to strengthen safety integration

About You:

• Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Process, Safety, or related field)
• Experience in MHF or high-risk chemical environments
• Solid understanding of chemical warehousing, transport, or manufacturing processes
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence across operational and compliance teams

Additional Details:

• Full-time, 38-hour week
• Fully onsite role in Melbourne
• Salary ranging $180,000-$200,000
