Bean Culture Coffee is a coffee roastery, cafe, barista training school and coffee event specialist based in Mitchell, Canberra.

We currently have a barista / café all-rounder position available for approximately 30 hours per week. Key responsibilities of the role include:

Barista role - dialling in coffee, adjusting grinders, making specialty coffee, latte art, filter coffee

Greeting and serving customers,

Cash handling,

Running coffee and food to tables,

Making smoothies/milkshakes,

Cleaning and keeping work areas / communal areas clean and tidy (including end-of-day close),

Restocking food, drinks and retail shelves

Skills and experience:

Minimum 12 months experience as a Barista

Latte Art desirable

Excellent customer service skills , bubbly personality and great communication is a must

Hardworking, punctual and reliable

Flexible and willing to learn and work in varied aspects of the business

Maintain a clean and organised work space

The ability to work autonomously as well as within a small team environment, and being happy to help other team members when needed
