Our client, one of WA's largest waste management authorities, is seeking a number of Manual Labourers to assist their Environmental Team to care for and maintain the bushland and operational areas.

Must have own PPE - Long pants, high vis long sleeve shirt, steel capped boots, safety glasses and gloves.

Key Duties:

• Labouring duties using gardening tools including shovels
• Picking up litter in bushland and operational areas
• Laying black plastic to form lining on a drain
• Weeding bushland and operational areas
• Installing chicken wire fencing

Essential Skills:

• An understanding of OSH requirements and workplace procedures
• Able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
• Ability to work in a bushland environment
• Must be able to walk, bend and stand for extended periods
• Able to carry out tasks requiring physical exertion, heavy lifting and shovelling
