About the role

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Recreation Host to join our team at the Sutton Estate Co Pty Ltd in Pokolbin, NSW. As a casual Recreation Host, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience and facilitating a range of recreational activities for our visitors.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming guests to the estate, ensuring they feel valued and well-attended to

Organising and leading a variety of recreational activities, such as Smash Room, Axe Throwing, Wine Escape Room, Chocolate Escape Room and our newest activity The Splatter Bus.

Assisting guests with information about the local area, including recommendations for dining, attractions, and wineries

Maintaining a clean and well-organised recreation area, ensuring it is always ready to host guests

Providing excellent customer service and addressing any guest concerns or inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Collaborating with the wider hospitality team to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a customer-facing role within the hospitality or tourism industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests of all ages and backgrounds

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively

A passion for the local area and a desire to share your knowledge with guests

Casual Position Saturday & Sundays Hours approximately 9.00am to 6pm and extra hours will be available, if you're interested.

A current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

RSA

Drivers Licence

Someone that's handy and can fix props

Working with Children Check needed

Basic computer skills
