As a Videographer with Mayday Media, you’ll collaborate with our directors to produce cinematic, commercial content for top tier real estate agencies, brands, and developers. You’ll be responsible for capturing smooth, high-quality footage of properties, lifestyle moments, and behind-the-scenes storytelling across Sydney and the Southern Highlands. The role requires technical expertise (filming in Log, gimbal, drone) combined with a creative approach to framing, lighting, and camera movement.

We’re looking for someone who isn’t just a camera operator but a creative partner. Someone who can bring ideas to the table, adapt quickly on set, and help us tell stories that stand out from typical property or brand content.

This is a freelance/contract role with flexibility, premium clients, and the chance to be part of a growing studio that values creativity, strong attention to detail, and storytelling at the highest level. We require a talented and experienced Videographer to film client projects, and provide the RAW footage for our editors to work with. Shot lists, team collaboration and assistance will always be provided by our directors.

Being a freelance/contract position, the successful candidate must have their own camera equipment and vehicle. You must hold public liability insurance as well. Our expectation is that the successful candidate is punctual at all times, has very strong attention to detail, communicates professionally in both verbal and digital comms and is always efficient. In return, we are paying $100 - $150/hr based on experience and quality of work.
