The Package: $107,723.72 - $119,029.04 gross per annum + 12% super + 3.5% CLA. (Evaluated as Grade 16 of the QPRC Salary System 2025).

Council is seeking a professional to join the Contracts and Projects Team, to provide engineering support and assistance in planning and delivering Council’s capital infrastructure projects.

In this role you will:

· Develop and deliver capital civil infrastructure projects from investigation, design through to construction.

· Prepare and manage project budgets and time estimates, and lead delivery of required project approvals.

· Prepare and manage contracts, and applying procurement processes

· Coordinate and supervise consultants and contractors, including surveillance of construction sites.

We are looking for someone who:

· Currently holds a recognised bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent)

· Has demonstrated working experience in applying project management methodologies and practices to civil engineering works.

· Has experience with procurement processes and contract administration.

· Has sound time management, oral and written communication skills for a range of audiences.

· Demonstrates knowledge in engineering standards, codes and legislation
