My client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Projects Ramp Up team at their downstream mineral processing facility.

What You’ll Do

• Lead mechanical design and technical assessments for debottlenecking and modification projects.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables including datasheets, specifications, and layout drawings.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver integrated design outcomes.
• Support procurement, vendor evaluations, and documentation reviews.
• Participate in HAZOPs, constructability reviews, and risk assessments.
• Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning, and handover.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering within resource or chemical processing industries.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards (AS1210, AS4041, ASME).
• Proven experience with pressure equipment, piping systems, rotating equipment, and layout design.
• Ability to review 3D models and mechanical drawings.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
