About the Role:

Our Client is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role will focus on surface facility design and providing critical technical support, including communication and coordination with design consultancies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead surface facility design activities and provide hands-on technical support.
• Coordinate and establish communication with design consultancies to ensure project objectives are met.
• Conduct critical reviews, design reviews, and HAZOP participation to ensure robust and safe engineering outcomes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers where required.
• Perform detailed and incisive engineering reviews, ensuring high standards of technical accuracy and compliance.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 10–15 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong experience in Coal Seam Gas (CSG) projects.
• Must hold RPEQ certification.
• Proven experience with critical reviews, design reviews, and HAZOP studies.
• Comfortable delivering thorough, decisive engineering assessments.
