About AEIOU
AEIOU is a profit-for-purpose organisation founded in 2005, dedicated to delivering high-quality therapy and care for children with autism. Our family-centred program aligns with the Guidelines for Good Practice and is designed to help children build essential life skills, independence, and confidence.
Our multidisciplinary team—including Educators, Room Leaders, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Behaviour Consultants—works collaboratively to provide holistic support. Staff also benefit from regular professional development across all disciplines, continually enhancing their skills and expertise.
About the Early Intervention Specialist (Educator) position

The essentials:
- Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) or equivalent and studying and/or willing to study Diploma in ECEC
- Willingness to learn evidence-based intervention strategies and ASD-specific techniques (working with autism)
- Knowledge of relevant legislation (including Child Protection Law and the National Quality Standards)
- Understanding of the provision of safe, well planned, indoor and outdoor learning environments
- Current working rights in Australia.
The successful applicant will require a working with children clearance and NDIS clearance - AEIOU will support you to obtain within your application progress.

AEIOU is family-focused, so that in addition to supporting children to achieve their individual goals, families receive training and support through online education and parent engagement sessions.
At AEIOU, a dedicated team of education and therapy professionals work together to support each child and family. This team is comprised of speech pathologists, occupational therapists, behaviour support practitioners, early childhood teachers and educators.
