What we offer you, as a Casual Team member
- We maintain low staff-to-child ratios to ensure every child receives the individualised attention they need to thrive.
- Current hourly rate $36.06 to $41.55 inclusive of casual loading (dependent on qualifications and experience). In addition, AEIOU has applied for the Worker Retention Payment, and we are currently awaiting the outcome of that decision;

About AEIOU
AEIOU is a profit-for-purpose organisation founded in 2005, dedicated to delivering high-quality therapy and care for children with autism. Our family-centred program aligns with the Guidelines for Good Practice and is designed to help children build essential life skills, independence, and confidence.
Our multidisciplinary team—including Educators, Room Leaders, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Behaviour Consultants—works collaboratively to provide holistic support. Staff also benefit from regular professional development across all disciplines, continually enhancing their skills and expertise.
About the Early Intervention Specialist (Educator) position

Who are we looking for?
- You are a passionate Early Childhood Educator seeking a purposeful and meaningful role to make a genuine difference in the lives of children with autism;
- Ideally you hold an ACECQA-approved Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education;
- You currently hold or eligible to hold a Working with Children check (Blue Card) and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card);
- You demonstrate a willingness to learn and apply evidence-based intervention strategies, including autism-specific techniques;
- You have energy and enthusiasm, balanced with patience and kindness;
- Accountability, professionalism, and collaboration are important to our team;
- This is a casual role with varied hours, so we are looking for someone flexible who can cover shifts for both planned leave and unexpected absences.

At AEIOU, a dedicated team of education and therapy professionals work together to support each child and family. This team is comprised of speech pathologists, occupational therapists, behaviour support practitioners, early childhood teachers and educators.
