Our Client is dedicated to providing high-quality care and education in a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment. Their large, well-established centre is led by an experienced Centre Manager and a passionate team of educators committed to supporting children to grow, learn, and thrive.
We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic Centre Manager to join their leadership team and help drive excellence in their service.
The Role
This is an exciting off-the-floor leadership position, offering the opportunity to make a real impact while developing your career in early childhood education. As the Centre Manager, you will support the experienced Area Manager who leads a small portfolio in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of this large and thriving service. You’ll have the chance to inspire and mentor a talented team of educators while building strong relationships with families and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily operations, including staffing, compliance, and enrolments.
- Collaborate with the Porfolio Manager to uphold high-quality care and education standards.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the educator team to achieve their professional goals.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, ensuring open and effective communication.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards, including the National Quality Framework (NQF).
- Step into the Centre Manager role when required.
About You
You are a passionate and motivated leader with a commitment to early childhood education. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited about taking the next step in your career.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher).
- Proven experience in an early childhood or OSHC setting.
- Strong understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous leadership experience (desirable).
- A current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate (including CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis).
